The CHAM are also called Cham, Chiem Thanh and Hoi. They have a population of about 148,021 people concentrating in the provinces of Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan, Vietnam

The CHO RO have more than 26,455 inhabitants. A large part of them settles in Dong Nai Province and the rest lives in Binh Thuan Province, Vietnam.

The BRU-VAN KIEU have a population of more than 62.954 inhabitants from different local subgroups also called Bru, Van Kieu, Tri, Khua and Ma-coong. They inhabit in concentration in the mountain regions of Quang Binh, Quang Tri, and Thua Thien-Hue Provinces – Vietnam.

The BRAU are also called BRAO. They have a population of about 350 who inhabit mainly in Dak Me Village, Bo Y Commune, Ngoc Hoi District of Kon Turn Province.
