The province of Gocong is situated on the coast of the East Sea. It is separated from the province of Giadinh on the north-east by the Vaico.

The province of Tanan is bounded on the north by the province of Tayninh, of Cho Lon and the kingdom of Cambodia, on the south by the provinces of Sadec, Mytho and Gocong.

The province of Mytho is situated between 10°03 and 10°35 latitude north, and 103°30 and 104o38 longitude east.

The province of Thudaumot extends from the south-west to the north-east to a length of 150 kilometers, and a width varying between 20 to 30 km.
